What is Medellín Gourmet?
Medellín Gourmet is a gastronomic event that celebrates the best of local and international cuisine in the city of eternal spring. Throughout the month, some of the best restaurants in the city offer exclusive menus at special prices, allowing attendees to enjoy exquisite experiences. It is an opportunity to share, explore creativity, and discover the flavors that define each restaurant.
Mombasa’s offering
At Mombasa, we have designed a menu that reflects our passion for signature cuisine, where fresh local ingredients and African influences are fused with modern techniques. This year, at Medellín Gourmet, we will take you on a gastronomic journey that captures the best of our roots, with a tropical touch full of flavor.
Our menu for Medellín Gourmet includes:
1 appetizer + 2 main courses + Dessert + 2 drinks (Hatsu soda or Santa Ema wine glasses) + coffee + 2 Chevignon vouchers. All this for $195,000 COP.
Starters
- Crispy Tuna: Yellowfin tuna tartare dressed with cilantro and sesame aioli, on gohan rice croquettes, creamy avocado, and crispy potatoes.
- Burrata: Buffalo burrata, roasted pears and tomatoes, cilantro pesto, balsamic reduction, mixed greens, and pistachio powder. Served with sourdough bread.
- Coconut Tiradito: Slices of Caribbean salmon and sea bass, creamy coconut and almond leche de tigre, pickled vegetables, togarashi, and sesame. Served with green plantain patacones.


Main Courses
- Cilantro Chicken: Chicken thigh marinated in cilantro, served over titoté rice, sour cream, creamy green curry sauce with spinach, and fresh salad with tahini dressing.
- Encocado: Fresh fish fillet (sea bass or tuna) grilled and glazed with miso, accompanied by cardamom and coconut rice, Pacific encocada sauce, and spinach tempura.
- Solomillo al Vino: Grilled beef tenderloin on arracacha and honey purée au gratin, seared vegetables, and red wine reduction.
Desserts
- Gulupa Air: Light and creamy mousse of gulupa and passion fruit, gulupa gel with mint, coconut gel, and blackberry powder.
- Apple Pie: Crumble, caramelized apples with spices, cinnamon diplomat cream, and berry powder.
